Implementing rules for the protection of your personal data
General information
The confidentiality of data is of great importance to us, and we want to take an open and transparent approach to the processing of your personal data. We have therefore established guidelines, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), to govern the processing and protection of your personal data.
Disclosure of data to third parties
When you open an account on the ksmor.eu website, we will use the information you provide to fulfil our obligations to you in the context of providing this service, and only in that context. In concrete terms, this means that your personal data will never be passed on to third parties. There is only one exception to this rule: if disclosure and/or transmission is required in order to stop, on a strictly legal basis, misuse of the website, for example a hacking attempt on your part. Regarding assessments of practices: the only two people who have access to your assessments are your supervisor — that is, the supervisor you yourself designated in your profile — and the webmaster of the ksmor.eu website, who is bound by a duty of complete discretion. These assessments may be used to produce statistics that may be made available to other people within your hospital. Those assessments will then be completely anonymous.
Cookies
Our site uses cookies. Cookies are small text files that websites can use to make the user experience more efficient. The law states that we may store cookies on your device only if they are strictly necessary for the operation of this site. For all other types of cookies, we need your permission. Two cookies are placed on your computer when you open your session:
- The session identification cookie. Once you have signed in on our website, the session identifier is stored in your computer's memory so that, on every page you visit, we can verify that it is indeed you who is signed in. This is to prevent a malicious person from impersonating you in order to visit the site. It is therefore a cookie that serves to protect your personal data. This cookie is deleted from your computer as soon as the session is closed.
- The browsing-language identification cookie. This cookie remembers for 1 year the language you selected to visit the site. It is a convenience cookie, so that you do not have to select the browsing language again on each visit to the site. You can check the contents of this cookie in your web browser settings. For example, in Google Chrome: Settings -> Advanced settings -> Privacy and security -> Site settings -> Cookies -> www.ksmor.eu
